Shaw Keller welcomes summer associate, Carlos Tirado.

Carlos is a rising 2L at Temple University Beasley School of Law and has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with Minors in Economics and Engineering Leadership Development from Penn State. Prior to law school, Carlos worked for PPL Electric Utilities as a Distribution Standards Engineer. During his undergraduate years he spent time as a quality management co-op at Johnson & Johnson. He was also a student advisor for the Penn State and Corvinus University Partnership where he evaluated potential US markets for a rapidly growing Hungarian anti-ageing institute and established a legal framework to ensure a smooth implementation of the first U.S. based franchise. In his spare time, Carlos is a member of the board of directors for Community Bike Works, a non-profit organization that uses bikes, peer role models and adult mentors to provide at-risk, inner city children with a meaningful work-ethic alternative to the streets.
